Dear Respected School Heads,
Timely coordination and support are crucial between the sponsorship section and the school Secretaries for the smooth functioning of Sponsorship related work/correspondence. Hereby, we request each and every school secretaries to remember the following key points and request you to follow these rules to the tee.

1) Always collect a “Thank You Letter” and immediately apprised us if sponsored student either completed his/her class XII or left/withdrawn from school or transferred to another school without fail. This is crucial and pertinent to impede sponsors complaint or questions and to smoothly run the sponsorship program.

2) Always mentioned “Sponsorship Code“ in the sponsored child letter and picture without fail. This is pertinent to avoid mixing of children identity.

3) Kindły don’t forget to send sign sheet of stipend receivers, voucher copy and the school fee receipt of those regular staff who has sent their children to schools other than Sambhota. Please kindly keep this in mind and send us above-cited when the school receives the stipend for disbursement. Also those applying for Stipend, please send the stipend form along with DOB of the child, GB and RC copy of the child parents and GB of the child without fail.

4) If a staff admit their children (Those who are availing Stipend) to the school hostel then he/she won’t receive the stipend. Additionally, if a staff send his/her child (Those availing stipend) to schools other than Sambhota and doesn’t pay school fee then he/she won’t get the stipend, inform us if such case arises.

Tibetan children in exile who are financially less fortunate require a monthly support of 35USD per month/per child for their education. However, individuals can contribute based on their capabilities, and the support amount can vary according to one’s financial situation. Your generous assistance has the potential to bring smiles to the faces of these children.

Some former Sambhota students hold high positions in both governmental and non-governmental organizations. Master Jigme Tsering, a former Sambhota Gangtok student, completed his Aeronautical Engineering in India, where he excelled as the top student in his institution. He was awarded by Mr. Lobsang Sangay, the former Sikyong of the Central Tibetan Administration.

We attribute all the successes that our students attain to all our kind and generous sponsors, without you the story might have been different.
YOU CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE !
